Urban Campout, San Diego's Fun Fundraiser
Thank you for joining us on Friday the 13th to support Girl Scouts San Diego!
At Girl Scouts San Diego, we don’t let anything stop us – even a Friday the 13th event date! On Sept. 13, we welcomed 400+ guests to Urban Campout: Girl Scouts San Diego’s premier fundraiser. Guests explored the Girl Scout campus, enjoyed camp favorites like archery and s’mores, and placed bids on exciting auction items – all while supporting the mission of Girl Scouts.
The theme 'Fortune Favors the Bold' is all about honoring the Girl Scout way of taking chances, trying new things, and making our own luck.

There's still time to donate and support Girl Scouts San Diego programming. All proceeds from Urban Campout empower girls to seek new adventures and tackle challenges, building within them the skills to become leaders of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

Perette Godwin brings nearly 20 years of experience in public relations, social media, and marketing to her role as the City of San Diego’s Communications Program Coordinator. Within Girl Scouts San Diego, she wears many hats! She is a National Council Delegate, co-leader of troop 4252, and manager for the Clairemont Service Unit. A longstanding volunteer, Perette continues to positively impact the Girl Scout community and empower the next generation of leaders.
