Girl Scouts San Diego Receives sPARK Award

Girl Scouts San Diego received a Forever Balboa Park Igniting Innovation sPARK Award—along with $5,000 from Park Catalyst sponsor, San Diego Foundation—for our 2022 Incredible Race event. The sPARK Awards recognize people and organizations that amplify Balboa Park’s distinct role and increase its positive impact on wellbeing through creativity, collaboration, and imagination.

The Incredible Race was sponsored by Booz Allen Hamilton and engaged nearly 300 Girl Scouts in hands-on activities as they tackled STEM challenges throughout beautiful and diverse Balboa Park. We are so proud to be recognized for this collaborative effort. Thank you, Forever Balboa Park!
